My Reality, L.D.L.

I am 68 years old. I was born in Cuba, but my parents came from Spain. I grew up as catholic. Because of the communism in Cuba I came to the United States in 1969 with my five-year old son, Cecil. I came to the city of Huntington Park, California.

In 1978 I received Christ as my Savior in the Baptist denomination. In 1988 I married a Christian man who had been brought to the Lord Jesus through me. In 1989 we moved to Florida where we continued meeting in the Baptist denomination. There we sang faithfully in the choir until 1998. In that year we went to Huntington Beach, California for vacation. We visited the local church in Huntington Beach, and got to know something of God's move to recover the practice of the local church. I had never heard anything like that before. We went back to Florida to sell our few belongings and we moved to Huntington Beach in October of 1998 to meet with the church in that city.

At present I am studying the New Testament (Recovery version), that I call the gem of Christian literature in teaching and in truth. I have read the Life-study of Genesis, by Witness Lee and The Glorious Church by Watchman Nee (which unveils the Church in a way not seen in other Christian books).

``Delight yourself in Jehovah, and He will give you the requests of your heart'' (Psalm 37:4). This is a real and genuine truth. Oh Lord Jesus! How excellent is Your name in all the earth. Praised be the Lord...Amen!
